Virginia. May 3, 1779. Treasury of Virginia. Act of Assembly. One Hundred Spanish Milled Dollars or Thirty Pounds. Fr. VA-170. PCGS Choice Very Fine-35. No qualifiers.

Description: As illustrated. Laid paper. Serial No. 20894. Signed by James Cocke, H. Randolph, and J. Hopkins. Printer uncertain. Uniface. 145mm by 95mm. A simply outstanding note by any and all regards. The boldly imprinted designs are evenly centered and deep in hue, though the signatures and serial number show some fade. Once part of a denomination duo in the Ford lot, along with the above $50 note, but now in its rightful place as a single lot that deserves to be showcased on its own!
