Description: Laid paper, visible Crown and Horn watermark. Serial No. 8/753. Signed by Peyton Randolph, John Blair, and Robert Carter Nicholas. Printer uncertain. Two-Sided. 170mm by 85mm. Death to Counterfeit. Paper lightly toned. All handwritten portions, comprising most of the note, are easily readable, and the printed portions are likewise bold. Several period pen and ink notations on back. An excellent example of this local issue that played an important role in the currency and commerce of the era and locale. Rare, and lacking in representation in most major cabinets.
