Description: Heavy rag paper with blue fibers. Serial No. 20277. Signed by L. Wood. Printer uncertain. Uniface. 93mm by 63mm. Death to Counterfeit. Yet another beautiful note that had its beginning in a group lot in Ford XVII. Evenly centered and richly inked with bold signature and serial number. Two back pedigree codes in pencil. “Could be among the finest known,” is what the Ford writer said about this note. With the note here in-hand, the present writer simply has to concur.
