Description: 1853 round Half D., BG-415A. PCGS MS62. Unique. 12 stars around, 1st even with bust point but not touching it; same reverse. Issued by M. Deriberpie, perhaps in association with Nouizillet and Routhier. Another obverse die which seems to have lasted for only a single strike; perhaps M. Deriberpie had difficulty with the hardening process. Flashy uncirculated, reverse ringed with violet toning, toning area before face. PCGSMS62 William C. O’Connor (PCGS# 45444). PCGS POP 1 + 0.
