Grade demands met easily by coin and spoon. The handle of the spoon facing is modeled with a Native American chieftain in full-feathered war bonnet, and the back of the handle shows a quiver filled with arrows. The back of the handle is stamped “STERLING” and “Patented July 14, ’91 (?).” It can be argued that this spoon represents either a waste of a coin or a unique way to preserve a coin, but either way this item gets high grades in the “neat” department.
Believed to be unique.
