Description: Thin paper watermarked CONFEDERATION. No Serial number. Signed by J. Boush and John Lyne; countersigned on verso by F. Webb. Printed by Hall and Sellers. Two-Sided, black face, red and black verso. 93mm by 72mm. Hand-written date. An exquisite note! Full margins on both side, a trifle uneven but full nonetheless. Crisp paper and boldly inked vignettes. The signatures and hand-written date are likewise deep and well-met. You probably will not find a finer example of this issue anywhere. If the “finest of the fine” is what you are looking for, plan your bidding accordingly for this spectacular note.
