Description: Thin paper watermarked CONFEDERATION. Serial No. 135. Signed by Reynerd Mynderse and Evert Bancker; countersigned on back by Abraham Yates, Jr. Printed by Hall and Sellers. Two-Sided, red inking on verso. 94mm by 70mm. Even margins, strong black ink on both sides, and attractive golden paper. Not only rare but beautiful for the given grade. The lengthy and storied pedigree of this particular note should capture the numismatic imagination of any potential bidders. The appearance goes beyond the given grade to our eyes, and any qualifiers or disturbances take a back seat to the rarity and quality offered here.
