State of New-Jersey. December 20, 1783 Act. One Dollar or Seven Shillings and Six Pence. Fr. NJ-205. PCGS Very Fine-20 Details. Repairs. As illustrated.

Description: Thick paper watermarked NEW JERSEY. Serial No. 2922. Signed by Jas. Ewing and James Mott. Two-Sided, black both sides. Leaf back. Printed by Isaac Collins, Trenton. Standard size. To Counterfeit Is Death. An exceptional note for the grade, evenly margined on the face and just a little tight at top back. Another rarity in any grade, of an impressively elusive New Jersey note issuance. Significant as a note denominated One Dollar with the English equivalent of Seven Shillings and Six Pence in the smaller subtext. Several notes of the issue are offered herein, all of them rare, and our wish is that you secure at least one of these notes while the securing is good.
