Header: EF Ptolemaic Kingdom Silver Decadrachm
Title: Ptolemaic Kingdom. Arsinoe II. Alexandria. Circa 265-241 BC Silver Decadrachm. EF NGC.
Description: Dies as illustrated. Strike: 4 of 5. Surface: 1 of 5. 34.36 grams. This deep silver-gray coin is boldly struck throughout and relatively easy on the eye, though there are some old scratches around Arsinoe’s profile, and a chip out of the planchet – “edge fracture” to NGC -- at the obverse bottom. Still, while not perfect, the coin still presents an enchanting face and deserves consideration.
