Province of Pennsylvania. March 10, 1769. Two Shillings Indented Bill. Fr. PA-140. PCGS Choice Uncirculated-64 Details. As-made Paper Wrinkles. As illustrated.

Description: Thin coarse paper. Serial No. 12654. Plate C. Signed by J. Lewis, Cha. Thomson, and Sam. Rhoads, Jr. Uniface. Printed by Hall and Sellers. 75mm by 90mm. Treasurer of the Contributors to the Relief and Employment of the Poor in the City of Philadelphia. Pensilvania spelling in text. Yet another outstanding note on the March 10, 1769 issue, boldly inked with near-perfect centering. The signatures are fresh and crisp. A perfectly sound note from “A scarce series with high-grade notes being great rarities,” according to the Ford writer. Typically found in far lesser grades, soiled, tattered, damaged, and well-circulated. The present note is an outstanding contradiction to most others of its kind. No doubt a Condition Census note, so please, plan your bids accordingly.
