It seems Anne Catherine was the widow of Jonas Green; she received the Colony contracts upon the passing of her husband. Accomplished for her time, she was also the printer of the Maryland Gazette in her hometown of Annapolis. Her historic period home was a bed and breakfast establishment at the time of the Ford sales.
