Province of Georgia. 1762 Ten Shillings. “Bush & Sickle” vignette. Fr. GA-41a. PCGS Very Good-8 Details. Multiple Repairs, Design Redrawn. As illustrated.

Description: Thin, fragile paper like the 1755 Charleston-printed issues. Serial No. 1957. Signed by Fra. Harris, Clement Martin, Alex. Wylly, J.E. Powell, and Henry Yonge. 120mm by 90mm. Uniface. Printed from modified plates of the 1755 issue. A rare prize from among the engraved 1762 issues, and a pleasing note despite the PCGS qualifiers. This one faces up nicely in-hand. The Ford sale cataloger noted: “Condition is an academic point for the specialist seeking this note.”
