Pennsylvania. April 25, 1776. Thirty Shillings. Fr. PA-207. PCGS Choice Uncirculated-64 Details. Minor Design Redrawn. As illustrated.

Description: Rigid stock. Serial No. 1644. Plate B. Signed by Wm. Kenly, C. Moore, and Abel Evans. Two-Sided. Printed by Hall and Sellers. Leaf back. Larger format. Pensilvania spelling in text. Creamy paper supports bold black ink, deeply imprinted on both sides. C. Moore’s signature in red is an immediate eye-catcher. About as fine overall as a serious student of the colonial note era will see for the issue. Yet another great note that made its Ford debut in a group lot.

Pedigree: Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate; Stack’s sale of the John J. Ford, Jr. Collection, Part XVII, March, 2007, Part of Lot 4269. (Ford Price Realized: $747.50, the lot)
