Pennsylvania. April 25, 1776. Forty Shillings. Fr. PA-208. PCGS Choice Uncirculated-64 Details. Minor Mounting Remnants. As illustrated.

Description: Rigid stock. Serial No. 1648. Plate B. Signed by Wm. Kenly, C. Moore, and Abel Evans. Two-Sided. Printed by Hall and Sellers. Leaf back. Larger format. Pensilvania spelling in text. Just one serial number away from the preceding note. Again, we witness C. Moore’s penchant to sign in red ink. Bold inking throughout, full margins all around, and exceptional eye appeal. There is not much more a colonial note specialist could hope for in an early paper money note. Let the bidding begin.
