One of Six Known Fr. 818 Ten Dollar Notes Fr. 818. 1915 $10 Federal Reserve Bank Note. Kansas City. PMG Very Fine 30. The Kansas City district offers the most varieties for this $10 Federal Reserve Bank Note denomination and this rare type is one of just six recorded examples. Three attractive mid-grade examples are seen alongside two Very Good notes and a single high grade piece. There have been only four appearances of this note in the last quarter century with the last to sell being a PCGS Very Fine 30 note which brought $18,400 in 2012. Prior to that the Flynn examples certified by PMG as Very Fine 35 realized an impressive $43,125 in 2008. This offering we feel is just as attractive as the prior two as it shows mostly even circulation throughout and lovely overall appeal for the assigned grade. PMG mentions "Erasure," in the comments section of the holder which is observed just left of the treasury seal. A true rarity within this diverse issuance and one worthy of serious consideration.
