New-Jersey. June 22, 1756. One Shilling. Fr. NJ-92. PCGS Choice Uncirculated-64 PPQ. No qualifiers; back of holder notes “As-made Paper Wrinkles.” As illustrated.

Description: Thick paper. Serial No. 6110. Plate A. Signed by John Smyth, Hugh Hartshorne, and Jos. Smith. 98mm by 51mm. Two-Sided. Sage leaf nature print on back. Printed by James Parker, Woodbridge. Not a great rarity by any stretch, but the quality of the note pushes it into an “honorary rarity” category. The paper quality is outstanding, and the inking is still bold. About as nice as a collector could ever hope for, with the Premium Paper Quality (PPQ) designation adding greatly to the overall aesthetics. Nice!
