Description: Thick paper. Plate A. Serial No. 241. Signed by S. Nevill, H. Hartshorne, and S. Smith. 97mm by 52mm. Two-Sided. Black ink both sides. Printed by James Parker, Woodbridge. To Counterfeit This Bill Is Death. A very rare note from an equally rare series, with an output of only 500 notes from plates notated with A and B positions. Paper backing strip curated from verso, otherwise pretty much as the Ford plate note. Dark ink against golden-tan paper, a real treat for a collector, and a piece that should not be overlooked.
