Description: Thick paper. Plate C; this denomination comes with plate positions A, B, C, and D. Serial No. 240. Signed by S. Neville, Dan. Smith, Jr., and S. Smith. Standard size. Two-Sided. Black and red ink face, black back. Printed by James Parker, Woodbridge. Which Tis Death To Counterfeit, another variation on the theme. An appealing note with every glance revealing another pleasing element. The inking is deep and well-suited to the warm golden paper. One of “those” notes that may just as well have been called New by PCGS; it is that fine! Destined to be a showpiece in a fine collection of colonial notes.
