The state of Idaho is not known by many higher denomination large-size with roughly 20 known $100 pieces, regardless of date and type. There is also no known $100 notes for the state other than 1902 plain and date backs. This charter accounts for six of the $100 notes on the state and this Extremely Fine offering is certainly one of the higher graded pieces. Wonderful penned signatures remain along with large borders and the overall appeal of a higher grade. The last for this denomination and charter to sell publicly was a $100 date back in a PCGS Extremely Fine 45 grade which brought $4,320 in a 2015 sale. We would expect a similar realization tonight.
