日本 甲州松木一分金 背桐 玩賞品 金銀図録 3-29 約3.67g PCGS XF-45

A rare fantasy piece with the reverse dominated by a single large Kiri, or Paulownia flower stamp. The reverse Kiri flower stamp is fairly crude compared to the obverse stamps. The flower features only one vein in each petal, making it the first of this design listed in KGZ. The obverse declares a denomination of 1 Bu. Koshu gold coins are significant as the first Japanese coins to show a standarized denomination. Japanese researchers believe this style with four characters on the obverse to be created probably after 1601 when the monetary system was standardized across Japan. Circulation wear is evident on the surfaces, but very presentable with nice color. Weight 3.67g.
