The last chogin was minted in the Ansei era with a mintage of 102,907 pieces which, in total, had a weight of 385 tons. Each chogin has a different weight because of the method of manufacture, however no weight is listed on the giant holder. On the obverse, there is an era seal stamped on each end signifying the Ansei era. The daikoku seal is stamped all around the edge. The reverse is blank. Most surviving chogin are in well-worn condition. PCGS certified VF-30
