Government of the Counties of New Castle, Kent and Sussex upon Delaware. June 1, 1759. Two Shillings. Fr. DE-63. PCGS About Uncirculated-53 – Minor Mounting Remnants. As illustrated.

Description: Printed by B. Franklin and D. Hall. 70mm by 87mm. Uniface. Moderately thick paper. Serial No. 26458. Signed by Wm. Armstrong, John Barns, and David Hall. A lovely note, certainly one of the many highlights among the Delaware notes offered here. Newman says 5,000 printed, but leaves it unpriced and calls it “rare.” Here, the term “rare” may be an understatement.
