Description: Printed by Benjamin Franklin and David Hall. 68-72mm by 80-90, a wide range that allowed for trimming. Uniface. Thin Paper. Serial No. unknown. Signed by Tho. Noxon; other signatures were trimmed from the bottom of the note long ago. This is the highest denomination note of the December 1, 1739 issue. A great note with a squirrel, an elephant, and a heron at the top margin. Rare in any grade. The present note is wholly acceptable to the eye, especially considering what it has been through in the last 284 years.
