Description: Laid paper. Serial No. 3108. Signed by P Bard, E. Telfair, a member of the Continental Congress and a later signatory to the Articles of Confederation (!), and W. O’Bryen. 103mm by 64mm. Uniface. A beautiful note by any standards. Called “a superior note in all regards” in the Ford catalog, and we can’t imagine a collector or specialist thinking otherwise. Crisp and deeply inked, with fairly even centering and the overall first impression of a New note! Easily among the finest known of the issue. Bidding for this highlight lot should be nothing short of furious.
