Unissued Remainder. One year note with interest accruing at 5.4%. Design type similar to Act of June 30,1812 with Eagle on branch at upper right corner and shield and cannon below center. The two known specimens are hand numbered and dated with this one being N. 3013 and “Feb.11, 1815” filled in. It also is made payable to “P.G. Vorrhies” at “Phild”[elphia]. Full borders with only one major vertical center fold and a couple of horizonal ones. Described by PCGS as having an Edge Tear at Top Right and we note a small ding on the lower left corner. There are two minute pinholes but overall an impressive looking note. Extremely Rare as evidenced by one not even being in the comprehensive John J. Ford collection (he only had a proof specimen). The Finest Known Specimen since we know of only one other specimen which is graded PCGS-30 PPQ.
Kagin Plate note. Krause-Lemke P9.
