Doubly Signed Remainder. This is a newly discovered note uniquely signed by Samuel Clarke and Edward Fox. All other TN-13a notes including the previous lot are signed by F. W. McGeary and C.C. Biddle.
A lovely note with a few folds most obvious from the back. Pretty well centered with the upper right lathe border trimmed somewhat but intact. Some foxing on two corners.
Not only is this another specimen of the very rare “with text” type, and Unique with this signature combination, but it is also the single Finest Known specimen for the type!
Not in the Ford or the Kagin Collections
Kagin Plate Note as TN-13a(1). The other signature combination is TN-13a(2). Friedberg and KL unlisted.
