Fr. 798. 1918 $5 Federal Reserve Bank Note. St. Louis. PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45. The Elliott - Burke | White Biggs type offered here is the scarcest of the three St. Louis varieties with just 37 pieces shown in the Track & Price census. PMG has graded just two at this level and only a single piece grades finer, a PMG About Uncirculated 55 note. Outside of an upper left corner fold, the circulation is nearly undetectable and the centering terrific. Certainly a catalog number missing in even comprehensive collections with this much appeal.
From the C.R. Chambliss Collection.
