Current Money of Virginia. May 6, 1776. Ordinance of Convention. Five Shillings or One Crown or Sixty Pence. Fr. VA-92. PCGS Choice Uncirculated-64 Details. Minor Mounting Remnants. As illustrated.

Description: Standard thick rag paper. Serial No. 6434. Signed by R. Morris and Geo. Seaton. Printer uncertain. Uniface. 95mm by 65mm. A beautiful note. The paper is crisp, and the black design impressions are as rich and deep as can be imagined. Blue fibers run throughout the note, especially on the back. “This Act is not priced above Fine in Newman. May 6, 1776 notes above Fine are tremendously rare,” wrote the Ford cataloger. We cannot imagine a finer note on the Act.
