Description: Frail laid paper. Serial No. 567. Signed by Peyton Randolph and Ro. C. Nicholas. Printer uncertain. Uniface. 87mm by 65mm. Backing sheet with penciled notations in the right margin is no longer attached to the note, but it is included in this lot. To quote the Ford writer, “The edges are rough, but professional restoration would probably enhance the eye appeal of this rarity…though not a true beauty, its rarity is indisputable.” A second chance for an alert underbidder.
