Description: Thinner laid paper. Serial No. 504. Signed by Peyton Randolph and Ro. C. Nicholas. Printer uncertain. Uniface. 79mm by 60mm. Modest toning to the paper, some fading to the imprint, signatures, and serial number. Back with numerous period pen and ink endorsements. “Only 1,800 notes of this denomination were authorized and few have survived,” wrote the Ford cataloger.
