Description: Thicker laid paper. Serial No. 749. “Signed” by Peyton Randolph and Ro. C. Nicholas. Printer uncertain. Uniface. 90mm by 69mm. Contemporary Counterfeit. If there are any lingering doubts as to the non-genuine status of this note, “Forg’d” is written five times across the face in period hand and pen – they must have spotted this one quickly! An unusual and rare note, one with a built-in desirability factor, especially if you have room in your collection for “neat” notes.
