Description: Laid paper. No Serial number. Unsigned. Printed by Mandeville and Westcott. Uniface. 68mm by 47mm. A spectacular small-sized, small-change note that comes without signature or serial number. Good, wide margins all around with the golden paper an excellent backdrop for the solid black inking. Genuine State of New-York currency from a small locale far from the hub of things all those years ago. Rare and elusive in any grade; we’re pretty certain you will not find another so fine in the near future – if at all!

Pedigree: From Stack’s sale of the John J. Ford, Jr. Collection, Part X, May, 2005, Lot 4782. (Ford Price Realized: $632.50)
