Colony of the Massachusetts Bay. July 8, 1775. Ten Shillings. Fr. MA-151. PCGS Very Fine-30 Details. Repairs. As illustrated.

Description: Printed on laid paper from plate engraved by Paul Revere. Serial No. 4572. Signed by Fuller and Gardner, the latter lightly pen canceled. 174mm by 79mm. Uniface. Another pleasing note from this rare issue; just 667 notes were authorized of this denomination. Contemporary signatures on verso. The Ford cataloger noted this would be a Condition Census example of the issue, if such a census was offered. It sure faces up boldly, with minimal distractions and minor qualifiers. Bidders have an opportunity in this offering to obtain more than one denomination on the issue, an opportunity that will not be a commonplace event at any time soon.
