Colony of the Massachusetts Bay. July 8, 1775. Six Shillings. Fr. MA-149. PCGS Very Fine-25 Details. Repaired Splits. As illustrated.

Description: Printed on laid paper from plate engraved by Paul Revere. Serial No. 4919. Signed by L. Robinson and H. Gardner. 163mm by 78mm. Uniface. The lowest denomination on the Act, for which only 540 notes were authorized. The Copper Plate Notes of Paul Revere are unpriced in the Newman reference, a testament to the rarity of the issue overall. The present note faces up well, and the minor repairs should be easily forgiven by specialists. Here is an opportunity as rare as the note itself!
