Description: On thick stock from plate engraved and printed by Paul Revere. Serial No. 2387. Signed by Wheeler and Pynthon. 76mm by 98mm. Two-Sided, famous “Sword in Hand” impression on verso. Called ”a genuine Sword from this second issue date of Revere-engraved ‘Sword In Hand’ notes,” by the Ford writer, the piece has not been overly curated and is as strong and attractive as it ever was. From Revere’s second issue of 1775. Rare so fine.
