Colony of the Massachusetts Bay. August 18, 1775. Eight Shillings. Fr. MA-165. PCGS Very Fine-20 Details. Repairs, Masking, Small Edge Tear. As illustrated.

Description: On coarse, rigid stock from plate engraved and printed by Paul Revere. Serial No. 7566. Signed by Cushing. 77mm by 97mm. Two-Sided, famous “Sword In Hand” impression on verso. A trifle ragged on the right face border as shown above; this note was sans photo in the Ford offering. It is a choice specimen for the given grade. It was never split, hence there are no vertical or horizontal repairs. An excellent Sword In Hand Note!
