Colony of Rhode Island. Providence. November 6, 1775. Twenty Shillings. Fr. RI-215. PCGS Choice Extremely Fine-45 Details. Repairs. As illustrated.

Description: Thin paper. Serial No. 3561. Signed by John Cole, John Dexter, and Jos. Clarke, all three in red. Printed by John Carter, whose name finally appears in print. Two-Sided. 68mm by 103mm. A splendid note to the experienced eye. A note that would make the ultimate update – if you are fortunate enough to possess one of lesser grade, that is. The top and side margins are tight to the design on both sides, and each side has a small unprinted margin at the bottom. The black imprints are deep and dark throughout, though the signatures and serial number have faded a bit. An appealing note, worthy of a serious bid and an intent to hold on to it for another generation!
