Colony of Rhode Island. Providence. May 3, 1775. Ten Shillings. Fr. RI-182. PCGS Very Fine-20 Details. Repairs, Severed and Reattached. As illustrated.

Description: Laid paper. Serial No. 7. Signed by John Cole, in red, and Tho. Greene. Printed by John Carter. Two-Sided. 75mm by 100mm. Bold black inking on golden paper is the order of the day for this attractive note. The overall appearance is of a far finer designation than the PCGS opinion suggests. Bottom margin broad compared to the other three sides on face, back imprint slightly askew to upper left. Paper strip removed from back. Everything considered, still an attractive note with plenty of quality and eye appeal to satisfy just about anyone. We cannot help but wonder whether we will ever see a lower serial number on this issue!
