Description: Laid paper. Serial No. 337. Signed by S. Verplanck, T. Bache, and A. Lott. Uniface. Printed by Hugh Gaine, from plates engraved by Elisha Gallaudet. Standard size. ‘Tis Death To Counterfeit, a newly abbreviated style of the sentiment. Undeniably choice for the grade, a note with plenty of eye appeal and aesthetic charm. The design is a trifle tight at the upper right face, otherwise the centering is spot-on. Minor curating did little to change the appearance or quality of the note. A worthwhile note all told.
