Anti-raising device of two dumbbells marked “V.” Its Death To Counterfeit This Bill, no apostrophe variety. A real beauty in every meaning of the word. The paper is crisp, the centering is near perfect, and the signatures are fresh and readable. Penciled notation on verso. Appearing as fresh and appealing as it did in the Ford sale – there has been no curating here. A notable piece, definitely in the Condition Census for the issue, and certain to be a highlight in a growing colonial note cabinet or New-York note collection.
