City and County of Albany. June 22, 1775. Twenty Shillings New-York Currency. Fr. NY-171.4. PCGS Very Fine-20 Details. Repairs. As illustrated.

Description: Laid paper. Serial No. 58. Signed by Samuel Stringer, in red ink, Jacob Lansing, Jr., and Jacob C. Ten Eyck. Uniface. 111mm by 61mm. Easy on the eye, with rich black printing. The margins are a little tight, but still an altogether gem-like circulated note that will pass in-hand scrutiny with flying colors. Another rarity from the June 22, 1775 issue.

Pedigree: Ex F.C.C. Boyd Estate; Stack’s sale of the John J. Ford, Jr. Collection, Part XV, October, 2006, Lot 8315. (Ford Price Realized: $1,092.50)
