Obv: head of Liberty left, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around, date below. Rev: cereal wreath, Roman numeral I at center. Bright pink-orange throughout with satiny, reflective fields and frosty design motifs. Sharply struck with bold design details across both sides. There are noticeable toning flecks at the first S and the E of STATES, as well as at 81 of the date; accuracy of description is a good policy. This portrait of Liberty by William Barber would go on to adorn our nickel five-cent pieces of 1883-1912 (or 1913, depending on where you stand in the ages-old argument). Have a look at this bright little jewel.
