This frosty specimen immediately calls to mind a finer grade at first contact. The luster is intense and the surfaces are lightly dusted with pastel violet, rose, and neon blue iridescence, chiefly on the obverse, but not lacking on the reverse. The central devices are sharp though the peripheries soften a bit, typical for this variety and the type in general. If there’s a finer or more appealing example of the date and grade combination out there, we have not laid eyes upon it. Bid as though you mean it for this enchanting coin! PCGS #6159
