This prestigious coin was formerly in the collection of Louis Eliasberg and is an ideal example of the archetypal coin of our nation’s first independent coinage. In condition it is equal to that of the Boyd/Ford specimen, with a hint of faded luster and bold design displaying every detail.

This variety clearly shows the letter D in ENGLAND has been corrected in the die and altered from an inverted letter D.
