1876 Octagonal ½ Dollar, BG-932A. MS65 PCGS.
“Baby Head” left, 13 cinquefoil stars around, coronet separated from 6th star, date spaced 18 7 6; value and CAL in wreath. Extremely Rare; listed in Breen-Gillio as Unique, but this is not the Jay Roe piece, nor the one that appeared on eBay 4/25/2005 and purchased by Christopher Terry (Old West Gold), to be reoffered at $12,500; there is also an AU58 in the Mike Locke Collection. Evidently a fourth example. Blazing, flashy bright gold Gem Brilliant Uncirculated—the finest known of this type, by a wide margin. 30th Anniversary Green Holder.
