1875 Type I Obverse/Type II Reverse. MS-63 PCGS CAC.
The lively toning highlights on this attractive trade dollar are a joy to behold. The obverse swirls with lustrous patches of bold peach and silver gray iridescence, the reverse afire with bright peach and sunset orange iridescence from stem to stern. Nicely struck throughout with only a hint of weakness at the top of the obverse and at the eagle’s left foot. Type I obverse, ribbon ends point left, Type II reverse, no berry on branch below claw. Lovely and impressive enough to warrant the CAC sticker, and a coin that will see a goodly amount of bidding activity, especially among those who enjoy richly toned 19th century coins.

PCGS Population: 13; 32 finer (MS-68 finest).
